Been home sick with my daughter for the last 3 days. Em has the flu, I have bronchitis, double ear infections, gastroenteritis and a URI. Went back to the doctor, today, and found out I have the flu on top of it all.
I am super sick and can’t concentrate, so not Art for a bit. I may or.may not have a page next week. If I do, I’ll probably only have one up. Sorry for the delays.

My Acroyer Knight Titan for my Imperial Armies. Made from a random mech model, the head of an Acroyer Micronaught, gun from a mech warrior toy and Gatling cannon from a GI Joe bike.
The Ritual continues… The inner sun is, of course, Shub Niggarath.

The bonus stories finally return!
So, I thought I’d be back to normal updates, but family illness has been keeping me busy.
My daughter has been fighting her chronic illness on an exceptionally rough month for it, she and her sister are also fighting the flu or strep, so we’ve been to a lot of Doctors, lately.
I have a new page started, mostly just roughed out at the one EEG appointment. I’m working, just not as much or quickly as I’d like.
Please be patient with me, I’ll get back to normal. Hopefully soon.
I built the bones of this out of chipboard, using a template I found online. My first Squat Landraider was made from a pattern I made myself, which I since lost.
I printed the template onto letter sized pieces of chipboard on one of the big printers at work. I cut it apart with utility knives and scissors and glued most of the pieces together using white glue, holding it together for drying with rubber bands.
i also used odd bits and bobs from random kits in my bits box. I crafter the twin las cannons from plastic tubing I got from my hobby shop, combined with parts from a GW Landraider.
I also sketched out and decoupaged a Dwarven face on the fron hull.
I have armed the tank with a very old multi meltas and a hunter killer missle.
I Need to find some time to toss some paint on this. It’ll be gold and reds, fitting for Kris Kringle! Remember my squat army is fashioned after Kris Kringle and Rugnar and all the North Pole dwarves from the comic.

Phineus’ World Map done in Google Earth maps.
This has been an idea for a long while. Putting Cole into the main character mode. Set in the future, magic is out in the open, and Cole is the focus.
I also have plans for grand armies of mages, fighting. We’ve seen a bit of that in Kali Saga. I want to expand on it.
The above drawing were all done back in 2006 or so. Just starting to start planning this stuff, now. As you can see, there’s a boy Beam, who, according to the timeline, was replaced by another daughter.
As we usher in the new year, and say a fine FU to 2016, I thought I’d update you all on what to expect from Phineus in the new year…
Black and white– for a while: I love my work in black and white, I think the lines really hold up well without colors to muddy them, so we’ll do that for a while.
Full pages (as opposed to half pages): I have been designing pages to be split for years. While it spreads out the updates more, it does limit my design choices quite a bit, so I’ve decided to go back to full pages (for however long). This means, I’ll be updating less days each week, with full size pages.
Comics –
Comixology: Releasing all my trade paperbacks digitally on Comixology. I have three available, now. A forth is being processed and more are on the way.
Pod-casting: I’d love to do a pod cast in conjunction with my Patreon. I don’t want to do the same old boring bitch and whine podcast, though, so I am brain storming some neat things I can do on that front. Think: Radio Play.
Plus, more that I haven’t though of yet. So, Happy New Year and read more comics!

The wonderful story by Noel has me buffered up until late December. This has caused a lack of a sense of urgency. That, added to my daughter’s surprise concussion after a hospital stay for Gastric Paralysis have gotten me all out of whack.
I have the 25th anniversary story started. The page is wonderful. I just need to stop thinking about Warhammer 40k and get it done!

So, the whole gag with the ships door and magic flashing was made up by Noel. He explained it to me as her lab doesn’t actually exist in their apartment. It’s just a magical door to her lab, which is on a ship, deep at the bottom of the ocean.
It’s protected by powerful magics and exists as a safe place for her to experiment.
I thought it was a neat idea, so, it’s canon.
Similarly, Phineus has a Fortress of Solitude-style gallery with a bunch of keepsakes and artifacts that exists in an extra-dimensional space. He can enter it through a doorway in their offices. WHen he reaches into his magic pocket, he’s actually accessing that gallery, to pull things from. Rarely, though, he may grab the wrong thing.
His study is actually in their building, but it’s heavily warded and protected.
This is a wonderful piece of fan art I got from Al Fukalek (of The Specialists ) for an art trade Collective of Heroes is doing for Halloween.
