Here’s a couple of pieces of awesome and grizzly art, inspired by some gribblies I drew, that the lovely and talented Paul Schmitt of Gargantuan Media drew up! He made game pieces out of my game pieces!
Go check out his stuff, it’s awesome!!

He doesn’t LOOK 11…

Nice way to meet someone new…

I was going through all my gaming stuff (mostly Backwaters of Mysticism) and I found all my old character sheets. I’ve played a LOT of RPGs. Backwaters became my different groups’ go to system. . We mixed up the worlds with we played in. Some straight up fantasy (Rugnar was my Dwarven Priest if Thor), modern, modern fantasy, some space sci fi, Super heroes, Kung Fu, westerns, etc.
I really dig a lot of the character sketches I’d done for the characters, and no one has seen them. I thought I’d share them with you guys. You may see some of these guys show up in future comics, now that I’ve rediscovered them.

And we’re back! My after vacation reaclimation took way too long and I got caught up in game stuff. We’re back to at least 2 weekly updates, now.
The Great Necromancer! Anyone recognize the orb he has?

Finally!! A new comic page! “Council of Phins” has updated over at https://www.patreon.com/Phinmagic
Thanks for entertaining my creative whims. I get into moods and move where the winds of my muse take me.
Do expect more RPG stuff. It’s stuff I’ve been planning for a long, long time, but has been of the backburner. I will try to mix it better with comic pages, though.
And I won’t have another vaca for a year.

This is serious old school. Like drew it in middle school in 1985. Got detention because it was stolen and ended up in the hands of my Algebra teacher, old school.
She is the product of watching Tobe Hooper’s “Life Force” at age 15. She is still an active character in my comics, as well. She’s my second oldest , current character next to Howie, who was created a few years earlier.
I was digging through gaming stuff and came up on this. Thought it was loooong gone.
Cheers.

Ah being young and nervous… This may or may not be how I was as a 16 year old.

Now begins a graphic novel, written by my good friend, Brian Babyok. It’ll run all year and be a great deal of fun!
It’s set in the 80’s while Phin is a very new student at Fourier University. He gets involved in magical politics and intrigue!
I’ll be posting M,W,F for the duration!

Page 1 of “Council of Phins” is up over at https://www.patreon.com/Phinmagic

I did another couple of these to warm up. They’re fun, and you get bored doing the same old head shots for sketch cards.

Super heroes gonna supe!
