Phineus : Magician for Hire is the brainchild of creator Barry Linck. Phineus was created in 1987, of then a high school senior after reading too much of Matt Wagner's "Mage", too much Dungeon's and Dragon's and watching too much of John Carpenter's "Big trouble in LittleChina". Over the interviening years Phineus changed from angellic savior, to reluctant hero, to art student who finds he is a mage, until, in 1991, for a comic class at Edinboro University, he became part of a Husband and Wife paranormal investigations team, with Phineus' sidekick and wife Sara. Barry produced and self published from 1993 to the present 33 comics with our erstwhile heroes, garnering a small but rabid fan following.

The first 3 encounters and general plot of the gaming module are worked out. Gonna playtest against myself, fore unleashing it on my group. Similar to “New Girl in Town”, but extra.

RPG Tokens

So, here’s a bunch of the token figures for my game. I have a bunch more to cut out, zombies, more monsters and gribblies, but it’s coming along. The player characters, have a bunch of designs to choose from, but the party will be 7.

Thi is fun stuff to work on.

RPG Gaming module

Sorry about the lack of pages, recently. I went on vacation to see my family for 2 weeks and , while I have 2 pages pencilled, I’ve been working on stuff for the Role Playing Game. I am doing character sheets of all our heroes for a Game Module called “Terror of the Cthulhu Cult”. It will be play tested this August at our gaming group’s “Hutzcon”.

The Module, when done, will have lots of background, characters, scenarios, and printable tokens for the heroes and monsters. I’ve been wanting to do this project for YEARS. I’ll post stuff as I get it done.
