Phineus Collectable Card Game

These are the cards for the Collectible Card game I have available at shows and maybe soon, online. It uses the open D20 system.

Bastard Who sneek peek!

Here’s a little peek behind the curtain at a page from the upcoming Bastard Who: The Gentleman’s Chronicles! I am having an absolute blast with this. For years, I’ve been wanting to do something space & adventury. I had thought to sent Phineus into space, but it never fit.

James Riot and I were tweeting nonsense back and forth about Doctor Who and our new combined adventure/ parody comic was born. Bastard Who goes live on April 23rd, the same day as the NEW Doctor Who!
This is the inks and colors for a page in the story. You’ll notice the inks attached to my drawing board. I’m really digging doing colors, again on a regular basis!

Exclusive DOCTOR WHO Extended Trailer 2011

Man, am I excited about the new season! Mmmm… Amy Pond…
Plus Riot and I are doing our own parody/homage …Bastard Who, premiering the very same day!

Here is my cover for the “Gentleman” version of a project I’m working on with James Riot.(@mr_riot)
The first issue is HERE.

Doctor Who By Emily Linck

While I was working on some super secret Bastard Who art, my 7 year old daughter plopped down next to me and did some Doctor Who art of her own. She’s awesome!

Locus Guest Art

This is a piece of guest art I did for my friend Adam Black, over at Locus.
Adams has done several pieces for me, so I have reciprocated!
If you haven’t read Locus, yet, get your ass over there and show some love!

Friends of Phin

Toy Forge

I changed the name and address of my hobby blog to Toy Forge. Head on over and check it out!

What’s up with Trinity?

So, you’ll remember that James Riot, Adam Black and I were deep into working on a crossover called “Trinity”, back in the fall.

We got a good start into it, but due to different conflicts, it was put on a back burner.
While we have no immediate plans to continue, right now, we are planning to eventually pick it back up.
Also, Riot and I are doing stories this summer with each others characters in them, so that’s something!
In the meantime, I had done some pages that haven’t been seen for Trinity, and this is a panel from one of the pages, that I really dig. It’s all of Chance’s stuff, laid out while he’s in the brig.
   I hope you dig it!

WTF, House, Zombie Slayer?

This is awesome and very unexpected. Love it.

Run Red Run Felties!

This is one a many AMAZING felt dolls created by a good friend of my sister’s, Michele Miller. She’s done several classic literary monsters and characters. She’s also won several awards.
It’s some really great stuff and you should head on over and check out all her great stuff!

New Blinck Minis Blog

I just started a blog featuring my Modelling projects. I’ll update very randomly. It’s my only hobby. I have 6 different armies that I’ll show you what I have been working on. So, head on over and check it out!

Saint Maynard Banner

Squat Landraider Close up

My completely scratch-built Old style Land Raider. Based on the Old Rogue Trader version that I’ve never been able to get a model for. I am really proud of how this one turned out.

My Squat Warlord, Rugnar the Grim

My Exo armored Warlord Rugnar the Grim.

Squat Bikes

I created these from a very deep Bitz box.
My inspiration was the bike Vaughn Bode’s Cobalt 60 rode in the old 60’s comics.
You can see the bikes in action in my comic here.

Warhammer 40,000 Banners

Some banners I did for my different armies. Done with markers.

Squat Warriors

Squat Retinues

Squat Transports

These are the leaders of my army, Rugnar the Grimm, whom you may remember from here, as the Warlord and Living Ancestor Kris Kringle, from here. Rugnar’s is actually in “Against the Giants”, too!

The more war-like nature of the dwarves will show up in a later story line!

Squat Landrader

So, the Squats are a discontinued race from 40K, sort of space dwarves. I ALWAYS play dwarves in any game I try, any version of them, so I HADto play the Squats. That said, there are no longer any rules to cover them, so you have to substitute with other army lists. I use Daemon-hunters with Imperial Guard allies.

I chose a land raider to build because in the fluff, the Squats are the engineers of a lot of Imperial tech.

The Squats are the modern take I had for Kris Kringle and his dwarves, and in turn, I fashioned my army after the Dwarves in my comic. Neat how that works out.

Warhammer 4ok and Squats are © Games Workshop.
