Hello all,
Here is a picture of me at the Pittsburgh Comicon, last weekend. The photo was taken by my good friend and partner in crime, Brian Babyok.
As of May 1st, I will be updating every day, Monday thru Friday. M,W,F will be links to new Weirdlings strips (scripted by the afformentioned Brian Babyok) and Tuesday and Thurday will be new Comicbook pages, Phineus and otherwise! This means I will have to keep up with the drawing! I am really excited about the new direction of my work and hope you’ll all check back and watch the process!

Con update

I have all the art done on Phin #4 and the mini Maynard and Grimm, I pencilled and inked 2 Weirdlings strips this weekend, I also have 1/2 of Phin #4 lettered. I should finish tonight/tomorrow so I can get to make copies this weekend. All goes according to plans!

Phineus: Magician for Hire #4 Cover

This is the New cover art for the upcoming new issue of Phineus #4, due out for the Pittsburgh Comicon in April.All the art is done, now all I have to do is Draw boxes and letter the pages and I’m all set to go!!

24 hour comic

I’ve wanted to do one for years. There is a national 24 hour comic day coming up October 7th, 2006. I don’t know about the logistics with my kids, but we should try it!

Comix crawing class

The first round of classes is almost over. I have been teaching at Michaels in North Fayette, PA. The classes have gone really well and are great fun.

During April, I will again tech from 11 am til 1pm on every Saturday but the Comicon
April 21-23). I also have added a class at the Waterworks Michaels, on Sundays from 2 -4PM, exept the con Weekend. I f anyone knows anybody interested, have them email me and I’ll get them the info!!

PHINEUS #4

This past week, mostly during the weekend, I was able to complete 6 more pages pencilled and inked, 1 page penciled and the cover penciled and inked. I just have a page to ink and 4 more penciled and inked till It’s ready for the lettering!
Gotta… Keep… Working!

Also watched “Dr Who”, good stuff!
“Scooby Doo 2”, I dug it, seeing all the old monsters live action and all!
“I, Robot”, which I was surprised I liked more than I thought I would
“Alien vs Predator”, as good as a Predator movie, not as good as an Alien Movie

I have been atempting to get Phineus #4 done, I got two pages pencilled and inked over the last two nights, I’m down to 10 more pages to draw. I should have it by show time!! What’s everyone else working on for the Pgh Comicon?
