Yeah, so I suck. I didn’t get it done . I’m on like , page 13, now. I will finish the story. I do like what I have done, and it’s been fun hand lettering the thing (haven’t done that simce ’99). I’ll post the story when I’ve finished it.

24 hour comic Linck Version
Seeing as I had familial obligations today, I was unable to do the whole 24 hours straight, so I have 12 hours under my belt, now, I’ll attempt to finish tonight with a all-nighter, thus doing one in 24 hours, just in 12 hour incriments.
We’ll see how that goes. I do have 9 1/2 pages pencilled , inked and lettered, so far! I’ll check in later and let you know how I’m doing…

So mamoulian thinks I’m crazy. Me doing the 24 Hr Comic Challenge this weekend AND still getting the Weirdlings strips done for next week. Maybe I am, but I already have Friday AND Monday’s strips Drawn, I just have to color and letter them.
I have no idea what I am doing my 24 comic about. I’m freaking. I know I shouldn’t but…
I guess we’ll see.

Yeah, so I signed up for another webcomic site over at Drunk Duck. I got this from DJ Coffman’s site. They were just bought by Platinum, the company DJ just won that contest from.
Neat layout, cool forums and the upload of comics seems easy, I figure I’ll mirror my CG site and get extra exposure.

I am really excited about the 24 hour comic day. I, however , am not sure how I am going to do it. I have two small children and don’t sleep enough as it is. I do plan on doing some of it at the book store

I think I’ll be doing it on 81/2×11 pages and alot of single pagers, not out of laziness, but because I’ve always wanted to try since that issue of GIJOE when we were kids with Snakeeyes. We’ll see.

Crazy Busy
It was another crazy- busy weekend. I had my cousin’s wedding Sturday after my daughter Emmy’s third birthday on Friday, the whole time trying to see my parents as much as pssible as they are in from Tampa this week for the wedding!
Yikes! I just wanna draw! I’ll try and catch up this week. Next weekend we re-do the kitchen!

I feel really behind this week. I just finished drawing Fridays Weirdlings. I usually like to have those done by Monday. I am unsure if I’ll get much drawing done this week. My family is coming in from Tampa for a wedding. Yep, I have another one this weekend. I’m just a guest , not in it so it won’t suck up as much time.
I really want to get going on the art for those TPB covers. Grrr.

It’s been a very busy weekend. I was best man in my buddy Dave’s wedding, pretty much sucked up my whole weekend. I did get Monday’s Weirdlings strip done, Wed is drawn, I’ll color tomorrow. So much to do, so little time!

Hiya!
I have been crazy busy! Sorry for no updates in a while!
This weeks projects include…
I have all this weeks Weirdlings strips done, I’d like to get started on next weeks as I am in a wedding this weekend and it’s sucking up most of the weekend, when I usually do the strips.
Also, as my page a week, I am working on the artwork for the new cover of The Phineus Complete Vol 1 and Vol 2. I hope to get the black and white work completed this week, and color it next week. I’ll be going to press soon with these and I am submitting them both to Dark Horse and want them to look really killer!
To that end I spent quite some time over the weekend prepping older pages for both web and printing. Not very glamourous stuff, but very time consuming! All my older stuff has been cleaned up and Vectroized! Looks really spiffy and clean!
I also had to reconstruct the covers from Vol 1 issues #4 and #5. I didn’t have the originals and had to piece them together and clean them up!

I am just finishing up the script for the 12 ish pages of the Phineus: Boy Wizard story. Pretty funny, all kinds of Exorcist jokes.
This will be the EXTRA in the upcoming Complete Phineus Vol #2 that will be out soon along with a second printing of Phineus Vol #1, which will have some new extras including new cover art and other goodies. Both will be available online , later this fall, from Comixpress!

Psychic Girl Draws Faces of The Dead
This was a ballpoint pen drawing study I did for a piece called “Psychic Girl Draws Faces of The Dead”. I got the name from the title of a National Enquirer article. I eventually did the whole piece 23 x 36 in Ball point pen, used 8 of the damn pens before it was finished.I always liked this first drawing best.

It was a busy weekend… I got a lot done. It has a lot to do witht the fact that I get a 4 day weekend EVERY WEEK. Yeah, this week I started working 3 12 hour shifts, 5 PM – 5:30 AM T, W ,TH. Fri- Mon off, Yeah!
I know I haven’t done a new page in a while, but I got Phineus: Boy WIzard page #1 done, I’ll post it later this week.
I also got all this weeks Weirdlings strips done by Monday, I taught myself how to animate a gif and made two Phineus animations.. next up a Weirdlings animation! Mmmm…tentacles!
I hope to bang out the Weirdlings by Friday-ish and get a couple pages done over the weekend.
