I’ve had a busy few days!
The wife and I have been looking at a new house, we’ll see how that goes.
I have drawn a potential cover for Sara: One SHot as well as two more pages, I’ll get them and any other pages I get done up to you guys later this week.
As some of you know, I will NOT be attending the Pittsburgh Comicon this year as it happens the same week as my family vacation to Disney and Tampa (or as my 3 year old Emmy says “Can we go see Mickey?”) I will however be attending, as a guest, the “Steel City Con”( AKA The Pittsburgh Toy Show) http://www.pittsburghtoyshow.com/
So, If you want any books, comic pages or artwork done, come on down and see me!(I’m on the maine page of the website!!)
I talk at ya later~!

So, folks,
What are your resolutions for your comics for the new year? How many pages, issues, etc do you plan to finish this year? Are you going to publish? Please sahre…
I plan 2 pages a week of “Phineus”-related stories, plus my normal 3 full color strips of “Weirdlings” a week.
(Give or take, a 1 page week to a 3 page week)
What say you?

Okay, I suck , I was supposed to get this up last week, and I didn’t. I guess I’ll blame it on the holidays, even though I’m doing this on New Years eve.
AND… I didn’t get the pages done by today I wanted. Just this one, and a lot on backgrounds drawn. I’ll post them soon so you can pick them out as I post pages.
Happy New Year!

So, tonight at work I just finished pencilling and inking two pages, and pencilled the last page of “The Radon Farting Bastard Aliens from Hell”. Just gotta ink thelast and do up the cover and blammo! Done!
Next back to The Sara: One Shot. I hope to get the first half(up to page 20) done by years end.
If I do, that’s 73 pages this year! That’s a page and a half a week. That’s not even counting the 125 Weirdlings strips (that’s another 42 comic pages!)That’s the equivalent of almost 6 – 20 page comics this year! Holy productive year Batman!!
Live the Metal.
Here’s a pin up I did for a swell guy, named Mr. Riot, who does a mighty fine comic over at :

I describe him as the bastard child of Mike Mignola and our very own Noeland Collins with Joseph Campbell as the grand father…or something like that.
Cool Stuff you should check it out!
Oh yeah and it’s about Cthuhlu…

This is kinda cool…
MANGA STUDIO 3.0
A Japanese Illustration Standard Ships in the U.S.
By Ko Maruyama
Manga is known by many as a Japanese style of illustrating cartoons, both illustrated and animated. “Manga Studio 3.0” is the American release of the #1 manga-style illustration software. Previously known as Comic Studio, Manga Studio offers all of the tools needed to produce pages that are ready to go directly to the printer.
There are two versions of Manga Studio. The smaller version, Manga Studio 3.0 Debut is perfect for beginners. It’s not loaded with as many “bells and whistles” as the larger package, but at a price tag under $50, even professional artists will want to load up some stations with the tool. The ‘Debut’ version will still allow you to sketch, ink and publish cartoons.
The larger version, Manga Studio 3.0 EX, not only allows for everything that Debut offers, but also contains over 3,000 screen tones – to which you can add more. Additionally, in EX, you can import vector layers, 3D objects (lwo, obj, dxf, lws, stc), as well as Adobe Photoshop and Painter projects. ‘EX’ also supports Poser and Shade native file formats. EX can also export a layered Photoshop document, in case someone in your production pipeline prefers to work in that software. At just under $300, Manga Studio is also an affordable addition to any production studio.
