>It’s been a Busy couple of weeks!

I finished a 10 page story, from Sara’s past with James Riot’s Chance from The Path. http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Path/ It’s fun stuff.
I have also completed up to page 19 of the Phineus Xmas story.
I just polished off page 1 of my and Mike Woods’ Bobby Carter: Creephunter. That will go live in October on Drunk Duck!

That’s like 19 pages pencilled and inked in 3 weeks! Whew! I gotta keep it up!

Busy Busy Busy

I’ve been so busy, I haven’t been able to post!

In the last two weeks I’ve finished the script and thumbnails for the Phineus Xmas Special: Aainst the Giants (I even have a character named Gygax).

I’ve also finished the art on 7 pages! I’ll probably be up to page 17(of 30) by weeks end.
I didi all this while also dealing with the clean up from by basement flood.

We painted the basement(and my studio) over the weekend, we also found carpet, I’m gonna have one sweet sudio!

Cheers!

Sara: One Shot

This is a story that’s been a long time coming. Originally it was to be written by and drawn by my good friend Noeland Collins, however life got in the way and Noel wrote part, he then passed the rest of the writing chores off to another good friend Marshall Dillon to finish scripting, and then I took on the art chores.Enjoy the action movie in comic form!

I am running out of buffer! I finished this one in April! I’ve only 65 pages of buffer! Guess I better start drawing!

Phineus Xmas 3

Xmas-3

Here is my 3rd page of the Xmas special. I have 2 more drawn and scanned, I just didn’t get them lettered over the weekend. It was my anniversary, after all.

All in all, I had a very productive week, 5 Weirdlings strips, 3 Phineus pages & two commissions.

Hope this week is as good…

Cheers

Devil Chick

DevilChick

I did this as a comission for a buddy, I replaced his logo on the shirt with this design my wife did for a shirt.
I’ve always dug Coop’s devil girls and like to draw them myself. I always did like the bad girl!

To Update Daily, or not to update Daily…A little advice, please

After sporadically self Publishing for nearly 16 years, I accumulated a fair share of comic pages. So when I got online about a year ago, I had a lot of buffer and the ability to update daily.

I am currently working on my December comics, and it is likely that come early 2008, I’ll have to adjust my update schedule.

I currently can complete about three pages a week, with the day job, the kids and my other MWF comic Weirdlings.

I am wondering, should I move to a MWF schedule for Phineus:Magician for Hire, or should I post a teir (Half a page at a time), continuing on a daily schedule?

I’m just trying to get a concensus, to help me decide.

Thanks in advance, 😀

Zombies!

I am so geeked! I just read that Russel Mulcahy (The Highlander) has direcetd the third Resident Evil movie. http://movies.ign.com/articles/808/808987p1.html

I really dig him as a director, even back to his Duran Duran videos (Hungry Like the Wolf, New Moon On Monday, The Union of the Snakes), and really enjoy the Res Evil movies(Milla+Zombies= JOY!), so Yay!

I fiddled a bit with photoshopping this page. Drew a lot on the photos and messed with filters. Is it cheesy or does it work?

Suffice it to sayit’s a mix of Holiday Lore, magic, fantasy, comedy and sci fi.

More later as I finish pages!

This is an image of me, in a bald cap, as Rotwang. This was froma photo project from college many years ago. It was fun and all the effects were done optically, not on the computer. I may tweek these and post them on my websites, someday!
