There’s a really nice review of a good chunk of my books, by Gargantuan-Media over at Deviant Art: https://www.deviantart.com/indiegraphicnovels/blog/
I remember filling the order he placed, but just stumbled on the review he left on his DA blog. Pretty Cool. Give it a read!
1988. Well, late 1987 to 1988. I created these two characters in a computer graphics class I took in high school at Carnegie Mellon University on Saturdays. Yes. I CHOSE to go to school 6 days a week.
The original story was way too much Highlander meets Matt Wagner’s Mage, at this point. Phineus was some sort of extra-dimensional being sent to Earth for fight demons. Sara was the stereotypical damsel in distress. I clearly moved to a different path. I had a few different incarnations through out college, until I settled on the paranormal investigators we all know and love.
I’ve known these characters a good, long time. I’ll see if I can dig up any more old drawings of them.

Work and the holidays have overwhelmed me, sorry for the lack of art. Been too busy to art! I hate that. Happy holidays and I’ll see you soon with new stuff! #100daysofcomics #drawordieclub
We’re back! With a plan. I’ve scripted out the rest, so delays should be a minimum.
So, I got a lazy for a long while and was winging it with my stories. Then, I get stuck, because I don’t know where to go and I wallow.
No. More.
I’m finished up the script in “Barcrawl”. “Boy Wizards” is next. I have Maynard and Grimm script done. Gonna get stuff DONE. I’m determined to kick all the ass in the coming year!
The comics I will be working to finish over the next weeks will be:
Wish me luck!

I got them all done, and a bit early! Here were the prompts…
These were done as a part of DJ Coffman’s Draw or Die Club’s Promptober challenge. I got a late start due to hand issues, but worked ahead and got finished up a little early! It was great fun0 and loosened up my hand and thumb to draw! I’m currently back at comic pages and hope to have a new one up next week!
At the half way point of the month, here are all the daily cards I have done so far. I’ve never completed one of the challenges, before. As you can see I have more that 16 done. This has been fun and getting me ready for my con on the 29th, and ready for more pages.
I’m conditioning the drawing thumb by doing sketch cards for Draw or Die’s Promptober. They’re fun, they’re getting me ready for the con in 2 weeks and it’s loosening up my hand. Sorry for the lack of pages.
I’m struggling, guys. My anxiety and depression are getting the best of me. Add to that the hand pain, and I am struggling. I feel very lost right now. I’ll be back as soon as I feel like what I’m doing matters at all.
Apologies.
Who is this creepy guy?
Finally! Sorry about the delay. Been a rough couple of weeks!
After a long, long week of my main site issues, my host escalated the problem and got it all fixed up. They ended up changing the url and screwing up my image links. All fixed, now.
Because of all this, i spent way too much time fixing what i could on this main site, but also preparing my backup WordPress site, just in case they couldn’t fix it.
Now, with that all out of the way, i can get back to drawing! Sorry for the delay!
Ok. They got most if the main site back up, still a few things to tweak, but this managed to take up the while weekend, so I didn’t get to draw. Stupid websites….
My main site is broken and the host keeps making it worse. You can check out my mirrors at:

Phineus: Teen Wizard is now available on Amazon as a book or on Kindle! Woot!
Inks are comic along on page 4. I got distracted by website stuff and the cover for Teen Wizards TPB. This will be up this week.
So, I’ve had a mirror over at Drunk Duck since 2006, left with the Platinum Studios/Wevolt debacle back in the early ’10s andgot set back up, there a couple years back, but have largely ignored it. but, no more!
DD has a great community, great comics and a nice interface, so I’ve decided to be way more engaged over there, going forward. That said, I spent a lot of time last week tweaking my comics there, making them look awesome, uploading pages and setting up new comics over there, so I didn’t get a lot of time to draw. No Magician for Hire page, today.
I should have a new page up later this week, so look out for it!
You can check out all the comics I have over at Drunk Duck, and all the comics I assist on, too over at: https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/user/phinmagic/
Read me, here or read me, there. Just read!!
