Here are some of the prelim sketches for yet another Phineus related story/series, about whaen Phineus was a little boy and was just learning about his powers, before he was admitted to Fourier Mysticollege. Its going to be fun!

Malek-a-rific!

This guy is called Malek the Morninglord, a priest of Lysander. He was a character of mine from forgotten realms, D & D. I had always wanted to do stories about him. Interestingly the story I started about him was changed into “Maynard and Grimm #1”. I even toyed with having Malek crossover with Phin and Sara in “Team up” type of cross dimentional story. I dunno, maybe he’ll show up in “Boy wizard”, we’ll see.

I just Pencilled and inked next Monday’s Weirdlings, and can I say…Oh MY God!!!! Wait till you see….

Holy Hell, this site is killing me. I already am barely web savvy, and their site has some extra twists, so it’s very challenging. I’ve been fighting with my archives and layout, I hope to get the bugs worked out soon. This has eaten up my whole weekend. All I want to do is draw!

I received my Weirdlings scripts for next week, today from Brian. Wow! I have already pencilled them all. Let’s just say this is where the Shit hits the fan! Good stuff! I , literally have to draw them so I can see what’s up next! Long live WEIRDLINGS!!!!

I stole this from Brian Babyok, writer of Weirdlings, who stole this from Dan Greenwald who made this crazy collection of eyebrows from Weirdlings, illustrating the number of times the characters have had a perplexed look on their face.

I do like to draw eyebrows, I guess it’s my signature thing. I find them the most expressive part of the body to draw.

Iguess that’s why I don’t trust Whoopi Goldberg and Kris Kristofferson, y’know, no eyebrows…( and the fact that HIS name , literally means “Kris son of Kristofer”)

A new “Terror” page! I have been plotting like a madman and designing for the new Phin story. I can’t wait to give you guys some!

I also pencilled and inked the two remaining strips for Weirlings, for this week, tonight. I LIKE IT! Yay!

I have also been learning stuff for Comics Genesis, I’ll have another site for Phineus through them, they are an affiliate of Keenspace, I hope to gather more readership through them, as well.

Phin 2036 and The Terror

Here’s page 17 of The Terror, as for Phineus 2036,I have some prelim drawings of Phin and Cole as well as some badguys and flying cars and such, bit due to massive OT and the subsequent lack of/ overabundance of sleep, I haven’t scanned them yet. I’ll get them over, soon.

Phineus 2036

So, I have been toying with this idea for a while, Phineus in the future. I just found out about an open competition for Dark Horse that they may publish your book. I intend on submitting the first 4 Phin issues as well as maybe Sara, and of course Phineus 2036.

I will need to design characters and a whole world for this , so I am going to take off some time from Sara, and work on this. I will update as I do sketches and as I finish pages (maybe in color). I may have new Sara in between as well.

So, hang in there with me as you watch me give birth to a new Comic!

Sara: One Shot # 10

Hola!

I am about half way through pencilling Sara # 11, lotsa archetecture in this story,lots to draw.
Page # 10 was fun, the more characters to draw over and over , the more challenging. Me and My wife, Chrissie and daughters Maddie and Emmy are in the tour group, the family with the two little girls.

I have to take a few days off Sara to do Weirdlings and another Wrestling Theatre strip, I’ll have the # 11 page next week for you!

I am now 1/4 th the way through thi story! Woo Hoo!

Phineus Online

Hello, all. I just finished all of this weeks Weirdlings strips. I am very happy with them. This fives me a couple of days to get caught up on the Sara: One Shot. I’ll get that to y’all later this week.
The new Phineus story I am going to do, I may do as a two teir strip, in color one or twice a week. Afetr all is done two strips together will make one comic book page.I’ll have to think about wether I can pull off Weirdlingns and Phineus, both in color at the same time… We’ll see.
