Here’s an art trade I did as part of the Collective of Heroes for Halloween. We are doing Halloween themed versions of other member’s characters.
This is Ophelia, from Dan Butcher’s “Vanguard”. I Frankensteined her, based on her fate in the comic.

A panel of an opcoming page of “Down the Rabbit Hole”, the first chapter of the next story arc, Hollow Earth!
Really old art from the dawn of time, right around 1982-85. I was in middle school working on comics with Glenn Csonka and drew with this style. A similar style that I am using in Teen Wizard.
So, Barry, why all the big eyed cartoons?
Because they are a lot of fun, that’s why. But also, so I can get all the content from Teen Wizard all under one roof, too while I craft the next serious Phineus arc, The Hollow Earth.
This will be an involved, ongoing storyline that will last for the rest of the year and will see Phin, Sara and some old friends delve into the unknown world that is the Hollow Earth. It will have myth, legends, monsters and magic. All the stuff you guys love about Phineus!
These are new logos for the upcoming story arc, “The Hollow Earth”. Been busily working on designs and story ideas for the next epic storyline!

Toying with the idea of doing a very short Phineus animated trailer. Been a very long time since I was an animator. I do have a degree in it, after all.

So, I’m really excited about a new project Glenn Csonka and I have been working on. It’s called Phineus: Teen Wizard and follows Phineus and his friends in college at Fourier University in the 80’s. It’s going to be all ages and a hell of a lot of fun.
It will go live, proper, in the fall with an on going strip by Glenn and full issues for members around once a month.
This one has got me really jazzed!

I am re-starting the Bastard Who comic I am doing as a brother comic with James Riot. It is a Doctor Who parody comic. I mix in a lot of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and a little Warhammer 40K as well.
I have created a new WP site for it, as the powers of Chaos have eaten the one on ODK. It will update on Thursdays for the foreseeable future.

This is the Fourier University Crest, created by Glenn Csonka. The University is Phin’s Alma Mater and will feature in heavily in next years story arc.

All the remaining art is drawn on roughly 8×12 on bristol board or 80# card with pen and ink.
All original art comes with a high res 8×11 print of the page from the comic and the signed comic page for $25 plus $5 for shipping. Multiple pages only get charged the $5 shipping per order.

Here is a trailer for the comic I whipped up. I may do more based on the TPB’s and maybe some process videos and Bio pics.
