Phineus is created, drawn and written by Barry Linck Barry Linck has been producing and publishing comic books for well over 3 decades. As writer, artist and creator, he has continued to produce his fan favorite ‘Phineus: Magician for Hire’ and ‘Gil: The Walking Dead (or Vampires Suck)’, a monthly comic strip. Barry served as artist on ‘Khozyain Protocol’, and contributed artwork for ‘The Creators’ and ‘Reverie’. Barry collaborated with Brian Babyok on such titles as ‘Pan’, ‘Phineus: The Glamour’, and ‘Dark Time’ An avid fan of role playing games, Barry co-created ‘Backwaters of Mysticism’ with John Burris. Barry did the art chores on the webcomic ‘Weirdlings’ . Barry continues working on his 37th year of ‘Phineus’ the new ‘Magician for Hire’ & ‘Maynard and Grimm’ as well as Bastard Who: The Gentleman’s Chronicles and Phineus: Teen Wizard and ‘Creephunter’ with Mike Wood all while raising a family in Pittsburgh. I hope to some day sell out and have really bad Saturday morning cartoons of my stuff (they still do have Saturday Morning cartoons, yes?).
“Ruins on a Moonlit Landscape”, “The Glamour”, “The Great Jaguar Paw” & “Queen of the Cold Night” written by Brian Babyok Brian was born and raised on the outskirts of Pittsburgh. He the manager of the information technology department for an international corporate relocation company. Brian is Comic Guru & overlord at Weirdlings.
“Creephunter” & “The Quick & the Undead” written and created by Mike Wood Mikey Wood started writing and drawing comics as an excuse to buy weekend passes to comic book conventions. From his meager debut in 2000-something with SOLITAIRE: WORKING CLASS HERO and TALES FROM KIRBY’S DINER, Mikey has gone on to write and/or provide artwork for various titles of his own including LOVE IN A TIME OF SUPER-VILLAINS, LOOKING OUT TOWARD THE SEA, and BOBBY CARTER: CREEPHUNTER (with art by the one-man-house-of-creations Barry Linck). ” Sara: One Shot” Co-written & “The Werewolf Conundrum” is created, written and drawn by Noeland Collins Noeland Collins Noeland Collins is an artist, writer, filmmaker, and prop builder. He broke into comics working on scrubs in scrubland with friend Marshall Dillon. He currently works on The Werewolf Conundrum for Piffle Productions, and web publishes the cyberpunk comic GRAFT, and the supernatural western 6 Bullets Fast. He’s working with his older brother Andy on both comics and films, and in his spare time helps keep the Raw Studios message boards free of spammers and malcontents. He co-designed and built a pair of prop guns for Vogster Entertainment’s Four Horsemen. He’s written, directed and photographed a handful of short and feature films. He also does work as a storyboard artist, and T-shirt designer. Joe, Street Fighter, Mega Man, and the Muppets, as well as movie tie-ins and video game properties. Some of his notable clients include the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Health, BBC Scotland, Premier League Football (Soccer), Intel, and AT&T as well as comic book publishing companies like Image Comics, IDW, Dark Horse Comics, Boom! “The Mother of All Monsters” Written and drawn by Jon Towers Jon Towers In the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy four Jon Towers was born unto a small and disintegrating city in Ohio called Elyria. He survived many years of a brutal string of broken homes and childhood negligence. In his freshman year of high school he placed in a Scholastic Art show, winning no money, glory or prestige from the accomplishment he was driven to enlist in the US Army after graduation. He spent four long years traveling the world as a combat engineer during this time he lived in Germany and Seattle, and he even survived Octoberfest in Munich surrounded by drunk Germans. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1996 with numerous awards andcommendations. He Graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1999 with honors. He moved back to the Cleveland area where he found work as a graphic designer. At this time he attended pro wrestling School in 1999 and went on to work for numerous small independent wrestling promotions beating people up and causing as much carnage and blood shed as he could. He occasionally appeared on a local radio show to promote events. As a supervisor of security he has worked many special events including three Super Bowls, and a Mardi Gras. In 2004 Jon released his graphic novel “The Heart Of Abracax, The New Apocrypha Book 1”. In 2005 Jon opened a one-man art show called “Gnosis Of The Pilgrim” featuring 28 watercolor paintings. In 2005 he paid for and was given an honorary Doctorate degree in Divinity from the Universal Life Church. In 2007-2008 Jon wrote a series of news and editorial styled articles for Pittsburgh Free Press. In 2009 he released an 11-issue comic book series called “The Nonstandard Assembly”. He also maintains a web site featuring and promoting his work; www.jonnyaxx.com. Jon lives in a miserable self-abusing downward spiral in the Pittsburgh area.
