As we usher in the new year, and say a fine FU to 2016, I thought I’d update you all on what to expect from Phineus in the new year…
Black and white– for a while: I love my work in black and white, I think the lines really hold up well without colors to muddy them, so we’ll do that for a while.
Full pages (as opposed to half pages): I have been designing pages to be split for years. While it spreads out the updates more, it does limit my design choices quite a bit, so I’ve decided to go back to full pages (for however long). This means, I’ll be updating less days each week, with full size pages.
Comics –
- “Family Secrets” will continue for a while.

- After that, we’ll be posting the 5 part Phineus/ William Feist crossover, “Should I Say Or Should I MiGo”. This is written by Vaughn Reynolds, drawn by Calvin Garcia & Myself. It’s only been available on the now defunct “ODK Presents” and was never finished. We will be adding covers for each chapter, drawn my Calvin, Barry and Kevin Hayman and Barry will be drawing the last two chapters to finish up the story. It takes place while Sara was pregnant with Nikki and really shows why she is the chosen one of Shub Niggarath.
- “How We Won The War” returns soon, for my patrons as a Patreon special comic.
- Toying with another bonus story based on Max Forward’s Sara and the Snowman guest art.
- “Teen Wizard” returns soon, to finish up the “Naome Glin” storyline.
- “Creephunter”? Maybe.
- More Bonus stories. I plan to post a page a week for my Patreon patrons in the new year. (Once I get caught back up)
- Other stuff I’m not ready to divulge, just yet.

Comixology: Releasing all my trade paperbacks digitally on Comixology. I have three available, now. A forth is being processed and more are on the way.
Pod-casting: I’d love to do a pod cast in conjunction with my Patreon. I don’t want to do the same old boring bitch and whine podcast, though, so I am brain storming some neat things I can do on that front. Think: Radio Play.
Plus, more that I haven’t though of yet. So, Happy New Year and read more comics!
Barry
