Bastard Who Sketchbook

I love the preparation for a new comic project. Especially a project as fun as Bastard Who , with my good buddy James Riot! The comic goes live on April 23rd, to coincide with the NEW season of Doctor Who on BBC and BBC America!

This is my version of Riot’s Bastard! And My Gentleman and his Ocularian companion!

Some of the aliens The Gentleman will encounter.

A planet The Gentleman will visit and an Ocularian. Otherwise known as the Radon Farting Bastard Aliens from hell. You’ll remember that these guys were in my very first 24 Hour Comic of the same name!

Phineus : Magician for Hire is the brainchild of creator Barry Linck. Phineus was created in 1987, of then a high school senior after reading too much of Matt Wagner's "Mage", too much Dungeon's and Dragon's and watching too much of John Carpenter's "Big trouble in LittleChina". Over the interviening years Phineus changed from angellic savior, to reluctant hero, to art student who finds he is a mage, until, in 1991, for a comic class at Edinboro University, he became part of a Husband and Wife paranormal investigations team, with Phineus' sidekick and wife Sara.
