Hey all, check out the progress I’ve made on the Sara: One shot project I’ve been working on for what seems forever.

I have another 11 pages and then I can move on to greener pastures!
The story is written by Noeland Collins and Marshall Dillon and illustrated by me, Barry Linck.
Enjoy!

Phineus : Magician for Hire is the brainchild of creator Barry Linck. Phineus was created in 1987, of then a high school senior after reading too much of Matt Wagner's "Mage", too much Dungeon's and Dragon's and watching too much of John Carpenter's "Big trouble in LittleChina". Over the interviening years Phineus changed from angellic savior, to reluctant hero, to art student who finds he is a mage, until, in 1991, for a comic class at Edinboro University, he became part of a Husband and Wife paranormal investigations team, with Phineus' sidekick and wife Sara. Barry produced and self published from 1993 to the present 33 comics with our erstwhile heroes, garnering a small but rabid fan following.

Awesome thanks for posting!
He he-Yeah lettering is fun!
I’m a total lettering geek…
I think the computer fonts look great, you have a nice array of different styles, but no one font detracts from the story telling, or stands out too much, which is very very good!
I’m on the fence about the expletives-the first couple I thought they were funny. I mean The script is funny one way or the other-that’s not the problem.
I started fixating on counting the hyphens 🙂
This is niggling, but to my mind, if it’s a cussin’ script-maybe just go full bore.
Either F-bombs, or the old %^&^#@ stuff…
Not something to double guess yourself on, finish the last 12 pages doing what youre doing, but maybe once all the pages are done go back and make a version that has the cussing.
It’s definetly up to the writer, though and any instructions they have over-rides…
Thanks for posting, seriuosly!
Hope this helps,
